Canyon Crossing Retail Center

Extensive use of pervious concrete pavement and flatwork at this retail development. Canyon Crossing is a 120,000 square foot Safeway and Safeway Gas anchored shopping center in Frederickson, Washington. The project is comprised of a new prototype Safeway Lifestyle store, six in-line and out pad retail buildings for lease (approximately 60,000 square feet) for small to mid size retail tenants, a fast food pad and a Safeway Gas pad.

Canyon Crossing is located at the major intersection of Canyon Road East and 176th Street East. Canyon Road is the major north-south arterial from Tacoma and freeways to the north, while 176th Street East is the main east-west arterial connecting to the Cross Base Highway (currently one of WSDOT’s top priorities) which leads to I-5 to the west. This intersection is physically Pierce County’s largest intersection.
